Tori's Story

The fourth retreat that I've (just) attended with the Passionists lived up to all expectations and more! 

As always, it was an experience filled with the perfect balance of faith and fun. Nicky and Kevin bought with them the famous (and very inspiring) charism of Christ that anyone associated with the Passionists would recognise in an instant.  This, being a weekend rather than the usual four days, was a very challenging retreat in that we did not have as much time to reflect on what we'd been presented with, as we had on the last three retreats, however I thoroughly enjoyed my time on retreat.

We spent time together as a big group, we had pair time and we also enjoyed individual time, all of which we were blessed to experience a strong sense of the love of Christ.  We enjoyed writing stories (thanks Stephen its my fav!), we enjoyed hot milo (thats right Nicky, that ones for you!) and we, as always, enjoyed the Spirit through GREAT music! Well done Nicky, I was most impressed :)

As I have experienced on the previous three retreats, I came away so inspired and so on fire with the passion of Christ.  I feel so blessed to annually get to experience such a character building, and faith strengthening experience. I would like to thank Norma, Paul and Linda... you three are amazing and I will never be able to explain how you've helped shape all our faith journeys, so a big thank you for all your hard work and the time you put into these retreats.  And of course Nicky and Kevin, where do I even start?! 

I feel truly blessed to have had the priveledge to again journey with you both (apparently last year wasn't enough!)  I will never be able to accurately put into words the impact you've had on our lives (and I know I dont just speak for myself here), and I want to thank you both for your dedication to bringing the Passionists to the youth of NZ, I know we've all left retreat inspired and passionate about our faith journeys =)  And I cant wait until you're back next, say Hi to all the Passionists of Aussie for us and I can't wait till I see you all again =)
