Rosie and John Crawford were commissioned as PFGM Diirectors at the Auckland Diocesan Formation day (28th May) by Fr Brian Traynor CP. John and Rosie have made a 4 year comnmitment to this role.
John and Rosie joined the PFGM in 1994 when their Parish (Mosgiel) in Dunedin joined PFGM and they were appointed as Parish Co-ordinators. They also became Regional Co-ordinators in Dunedin Diocese, a role they held, working with Murray and Aileen Straight until they moved to Auckland in 1999.
Almost immediately they were welcomed into a role with the Auckland Regional team, where they have served ever since. During this time they have also served as Parish Co-ordinators in St Heliers, and John is currently chairperson of the parish council there. They have been able to encourage young parents into PFGM, and have 5 groups made up of young parents and single people.
Clive and Frances Bleaken who had held this role in both Auckland and Hamilton Dioceses were there to support them. Clive and Frances continue their work in the Hamilton Diocese, Also present were Rob and Lynn Hill.
