On the feast Day of Ss Peter & Paul at the end of June the Passionist family groups in Lower Hutt celebrated their 25th anniversary with a high tea in the Parish Hall. 70 guests attended and enjoyed a selection of teas selected by Therese McTague, served in bone china tea cups loaned by family group members. The dainty finger food savouries and sweetmeats were arranged on 3- tiered plates so the food was beautifully presented. Richard Gibbs, opened the gathering with a welcome and the birthday cake was cut by two of the original co-ordinators in Lower Hutt, Therese Keating and Ivan Still. Photos of group activities during the 25 years were played over the television throughout the afternoon. This was a very happy occasion with an opportunity for all the groups to enjoy being together .
