Otago & Southland Formation Weekend – Waihola 11-13 March 2005

Family group members from throughout the Otago and Southland met in the small Otago township of Waihola for their annual formation weekend this year. Facilitated by the South Island resource person, Paul Traynor from Christchurch, with newly appointed South Island Directors Aileen & Murray Straight also attending.

We also were very excited to have Bishop Colin Campbell visit us on the Saturday and say Mass for us and share a meal. Bishop Colin spoke very highly of the benefits of having Family Groups active in the Parishes and he very generously provided some funds from the Diocese to help run this year's camp so as many families as possible could attend at virtually no cost.
