Hawkes Bay Formation Weekend 2007

The Palmerston North Diocesan Formation weekend was held in Hawkes Bay 31 March-1st April. There was a good attendance of both adults and children. Both the programme and the surroundings (including delicious food) were enjoyed.

Some comments form the weekend:

• Looking back over 15 years I realize how we’be grown as a community, because we know one another
• Anything can happen…but you have to make a start!
• Social is not a bad word. PFgs are not just social…rather they are socially just.. Social is how Jesus worked, and social makes us more caring of one another. From that we can tap into our spirituality.
• Many have benefited, especially those on their own.
• When you really get to know people you can both offer and ask for help.
• ‘I’m new to a PFG and what I have learned in the last 24 hours has been fantastic’
